The basic function of the Operations Lead is to ensure the merchandise is received properly into the store and flows efficiently to the sales floor. Must exhibit regular on time attendance for all scheduled shifts.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:
•Check in transfer trucks and ship out product
•Check in trucks and verifying any variances with management
•Conduct daily spot check or cycle counts
•Verify all returns from previous days business utilizing the Returns Reports
•Must understand all office functions including balancing of the store safe and counting down cash .
•Acts as a role model and personally contributes to the attainment of store goals.
•Open Customer Service counter and office in preparation for days business
•Email spot checks once verified with management
•Process sales transactions for customers
•Ticket modifications for delivery resets or price modification
•Manage the office and all office paperwork.
•Charge card overrides authorization and check approval
•Train new associates on Point-Of-Sale (POS) transactions and inventory control procedures
•Work with delivery office to improve and review delivery paperwork
•Oversee and make sure the condition of the warehouse is kept clean and in good condition for the store selling process
•Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints; escalate issues to management team as necessary.
•Fill in scheduling voids for Customer Service Merchandisers when there is a call-in or personal day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
•Must be willing to work a schedule that meets the needs of the customers.
•Minimum two years retail experience.
•Computer skills – Microsoft office
